  8. Beyond Compare is both a FOLDER COMPARISON UTILITY and a FILE COMPARISON 
  9. UTILITY.  Use it to reconcile differences in folders and files.

  14. This program runs under Windows 95/98/NT4/2000/ME/XP.

  19. - Fixed targeting zip files using the "Copy To Folder" command.
  20. - Fixed creating new folders in zip files.
  21. - Fixed access violation when closing a minimized file viewer when it's the 
  22.   only window.
  23. - Fixed file viewer only mode so it prompts to save changes when closing a 
  24.   minimized window.
  25. - Fixed file viewer titles to switch when using the "Swap Files" command.
  26. - Fixed Sync Preview's background painting under XP.

  31. 4. Distributing BC2 on a Network
  32. --------------------------------
  33. Follow these steps to distribute a registered Beyond Compare to users on your
  34. network:
  35.  
  36. - Place a copy of the BC2 setup program (ie beycomp.exe) on your network.
  37.  
  38. - Create a text file in the same location, paste your license key in it, and 
  39.   save it as "BC2.key".  Also, copy any plug-ins (*.bcp) that you want users
  40.   to have into this same folder.
  41.  
  42. - When a user runs the setup program from this location, it will automatically
  43.   copy the license key file to their system and BC will be registered.
  44.  
  45. If you like, have users run the setup program with the switch "/silent". There
  46. will be a single confirmation and then Beyond Compare will install without
  47. further interaction.
